The Story Behind Camellia Golf

We’re not golf professionals.  Some day we’re not even good.

We are full time workers and parents with full time dreams!

Practicing swings between meetings.  Sneaking out to the backyard to chip once the kids are asleep. 

Every second you’re not on the course you’re thinking about that next tee time.  

We are golfers.  We do this for us.

Why We Named It Camellia

Choosing our name wasn’t difficult.

Camellia meant home.

Sacramento.  The Camellia City.  California’s capital.

The state where both my wife and I were born, and the place we chose to return to after years in Arizona to raise our son.

Camellia Golf is a reminder of where we come from, what matters most, and doing all of that together.
